How do you breed your Scottish Fold cats?

At Queens Scottish Fold LLC, we follow responsible and ethical Scottish Fold breeding practices, carefully pairing a folded-ear cat with a straight-ear cat. We do not practice line breeding (inbreeding); instead, we focus on increasing genetic diversity to support long-term health. Because this breed allows for approved outcrossing, we occasionally incorporate British Shorthair (BSH) lines to strengthen structure, temperament, and overall quality. This approach helps maintain the signature Scottish Fold appearance while prioritizing health and strong genetics.
How do you ensure healthy breeding lines?
