What happens after I submit my kitten adoption application?
Once you submit your application, our team will review your answers to ensure our kittens are going to safe, loving homes. We typically respond within 24 to 48 hours. If approved, we will discuss our current availability or how to join our upcoming litter waitlist.
Is there a fee to submit the application?
No, filling out the initial adoption application is completely free. We only require a reservation deposit once your application is approved and you are ready to formally reserve a specific Scottish Fold or British Shorthair kitten.
Do I need to read the Kitten Agreement before applying?
Yes, we highly recommend reviewing our Kitten Agreement before applying. It outlines our health guarantees, spay/neuter requirements, and our strict indoor-only policy. You will be required to sign this contract before bringing your kitten home.
What do you look for in a prospective kitten owner?
As an ethical, TICA-registered cattery, our priority is the lifelong well-being of our cats. We look for families who understand the commitment of pet ownership, agree to our strict no-declawing policy, plan to keep the cat strictly indoors, and can provide a stable, loving environment.
Can I apply for a kitten if I live outside of NYC?
Absolutely! While we are based in Queens, New York, we safely place our Scottish Fold kittens with families across the United States. We offer professional flight nanny services to hand-deliver your kitten to your nearest major airport.
